About Bible-Race

Bible-Race is a collection of free Bible games that you play in your browser. Each game takes only a couple of minutes, so it fits into a lesson, a youth group night or a family game after dinner. Play on your own, or open a room, share a five-character code, and let everyone play together in real time.

There are no accounts to make and nothing to install. Your player name lives on your own device, and a room exists only while people are in it.

Why it exists

I am a high school teacher at a Christian school in Australia. My students kept asking for brain breaks, a few minutes away from the work of the lesson. I wanted that break to still be worth something, so I went looking for games that were fun but also fed their Christian learning.

It started with Six Degrees of Scripture, a race to connect one Bible figure to another through who knew who. Students enjoyed it so much that it kept growing. There are now games about putting Bible events in order, answering trivia, guessing Hebrew and Greek words, working out a person or place from clues, drawing Bible scenes and pinning where a verse sits in the Bible.

Every game is built to be quick, so a class can play one, then get back to work. The rules and tips for each are on the how to play page.

Built by a teacher, for classrooms and families

Bible verses in Bible Guessr are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which has been dedicated to the public domain. The BSB is produced in cooperation with Bible Hub, Discovery Bible, OpenBible.com and the Berean Bible Translation Committee. The difficulty ratings and the short notes about each verse are Bible-Race's own.
