How to use this page
Every question below has a "Show answer" button. The answers stay hidden until you tap them, so you can read from the screen without giving anything away to whoever is looking over your shoulder. Each answer has a Scripture reference under it, so people can look it up if they want to check or disagree.
Questions are grouped by category, so you can run a whole Old Testament round or mix categories. The Easy round and the Numbers and Firsts round both work well as a fast opening round.

How to run a Bible quiz with these questions
Split the room into teams of three to five. In a bigger team, one or two people end up answering for everyone. In a smaller team, a bad run is hard to recover from. Give each team something to write answers on, even scrap paper. If teams call answers out instead, you will spend the quiz arguing about who said it first.
Read each question twice, give teams 10 to 15 seconds to write an answer, then reveal it. A round of ten questions at this pace takes about eight minutes, including time to check answers. That is enough for a warm-up without losing the class.
Give one point for a correct answer, and a bonus point for the correct reference if you want to reward detail. Keep a running total on the board so teams stay interested.
What goes wrong: the most common argument is over an answer that is right but worded differently, like "the ark" instead of "Noah's ark", or a disciple named by surname. Decide before you start whether you will accept a reasonable paraphrase, and tell the room. The next most common problem is a team that knows the reference but not the answer, or the other way around. Decide in advance whether a team needs both to score.
Adapting for different ages
For primary-aged children, use the Easy round and the Numbers and Firsts round. Skip the Miracles and Parables questions that depend on knowing how a parable goes, because they assume the children already know the story. Read slowly and let children answer as a table group so a shy child isn't put on the spot.
For high school students, the Old Testament, New Testament and People categories carry the quiz. Teenagers are often better at recalling details than adults expect. Add a few Miracles and Parables questions to test understanding as well as memory.
For an adult small group or a youth night, use the whole bank. Save Numbers and Firsts and People for a harder final round.
Play it live instead
Reading questions aloud works well. If everyone has a screen, you can also play Bible Trivia Blitz, which uses similar questions but scores, times and syncs them across the room.
